Bourgeois
John Heartfield

This image caught my eye because the designer did a great job of conveying his message that he was trying to get across. The design is a piece against the media claiming that whoever reads the Bourgeois turns deaf and blind, so therefore the artist covered a mans entire head with the newspaper making him unable to see and hear.
California College of the Arts MFA show 2013
GOLD, San Francisco

I really enjoy this piece because you have to study it for a second to realize what it says. The lines that make up the words promoting the MFA show almost look like colorful streamers and I think its very fun. playful and clever.
Gunter Rambow and Michael van de Sand designed this piece promoting a novel and the portability that books have. This piece caught my eye because I love to read but also it is very unordinary. This piece is simple but it is somewhat odd how the designers incorporated a hand that seems to be coming out of the cover of the novel. I also like how there is a shadow below the book to represent it floating, almost like its following whoever it belongs to.
