BAG DESIGN
The emphasis in my final bag is the tree in the very front. I have a gradient on the front that leads your eyes to the branches that spread out across the bag. The emphasis is also darker than the background in order for it to stand out. The tree is also what mainly creates movement on the bag. The branches wrap around the bag and lead your eyes around the whole product. For the sides of the bag I used image trace and manipulated it until you couldn't tell that the image was once a rose. I duplicated it, changed the colors and opacity, and layered them on top of one another until the design was something I liked. My word relates to the word I was given because Organic in an artists terms is unpredictable shapes yet a design that is familiar. I used roses and trees to incorporate the familiar aspect of the definition and manipulated the shapes and colors so it was unpredictable.

Bauhaus School Questions

The Bauhaus school was originally located in Germany when it was founded by Walter Gropius in 1919. The school was later moved to Dessau and after fourteen years of running  the school was forced to shut down in 1933 due to pressure from the Nazi Party. The most interesting things about Bauhaus artwork is that they artists/students there are taught and able to take something boring and bland from everyday life and manipulate it into something beautiful.

My other word is metamorph...

Metamorphosis is the transformation process of something changing from a mature form to an adult form.
My word is organic!

According to some bloggers organic means to have art that is familiar and essential to life. This particular artist and blogger grew up constantly outside so she gathered inspiration from nature.

Organic art is when shapes are free flowing and unpredictable. Most organic arts resembles nature.
