This design is the cover for my book. The title is hope because that's what I want people to see when they look at my designs. The emphasis in this piece is the girl that is literally walking on hope. The road at the bottom of the page moves you to the top where the stars are which lead your eyes to the girl.

The emphasis in this design is yet again, the NEDA symbol! This time the symbol has butterfly wings to represent beauty, hope, and love which are all words NEDA uses to encourage people in the recovery process.
The emphasis in this piece is the ring gradient to the right side. This design also has the NEDA symbol, like all of my others. The symbol is not the emphasis in this design but it still symbolizes hope. Hope is not always immediately seen.
The emphasis of this piece is the NEDA symbol in the top left hand corner. It has a glow effect on the symbol which makes it stand out against the dark background. The design relates to my theme because the emphasis is a bright design among the darkness of the page. It is the glimmer of hope in a dark situation.

The emphasis in this piece is the line art in the top left hand corner. There is a black circle around the line art in order to draw attention to the figure. It goes along with my theme of hope because the line art is the NEDA symbol, which is the National Eating Disorders Association. People with eating disorders need to have hope in order to recover.
